Reports, or ‘views’ are broken down into individual, team, group or publication level so the information that you require is never more than a few clicks away.
Should it be necessary to change a parameter, such as Sales Rep or Date Range then these can be altered ‘on the fly’ without having to regenerate the whole report. Date values can also be saved so that other reports can be run using the same parameters.
Data such as Sales Rep or title can be cherry picked and overlaid to identify trends and potential issues.
Reports SUV provides a Dashboard feature that allows a user to configure a variety of reports so that they are always at hand. Its automatic refresh facility will deliver real-time sales data to your team.
Should new users need to be added to the system, then unlike conventional reports no additional configuration is required. Pointing directly to the SQL database Reports SUV will dynamically update to bring in any changes that are made. With no data cubes to configure Reports SUV can be quickly deployed to on site and provides a cost effective alternative to other business intelligence tools.
A ‘Perspectives’ approach enables various groups of reports to be made available to different groups of users - e.g. “Title” performance reports for sales managers and “Group” reports for directors. In fact, each chart/report can be mapped against security rules so that only those who have permissions to access them can do so.
SUV can also interface with multiple data sources directly, without the need for a central data aggregating repository, so a complete view of the enterprise can be obtained. Its unique Dashboard facility enables users to build and store their own view of reports.
An adjustable axis feature enables a single chart template to provide answers for multiple scenarios, simply by altering the parameters of what is being measured and how it is being measured. In turn, each report can have any number of parameters (date ranges, publications, page groups, customers, etc.) and each report shows a full breadcrumb trail of selections, so users always know how they reached the report they are viewing and which parameters were selected.
Each individual report template consists of a main chart, summary table and “N” levels of drilldown into data either as sub-charts or summary tables. SUV supports a number of different chart types, which can be set to default or allow restrictions at report level. (Line, Pie, Column, Bar, Area, Doughnut, Point, Bubble) as well as the ability to show and hide labels or make reports 3D at the click of a button. Any chart or table can be exported as an image and data file (csv, xml, etc.).
