The MGB product portfolio covers Canvassing, Marketing, Direct Delivery, Subscriptions, Reader Clubs, Free Newspaper Distribution, National and Local Leaflet Booking, Newsagent and Wholesaler Publishing and Digital Street Mapping.
Based on the MS Windows client/server environment, the solutions can be deployed on LAN or WAN infrastructure.
MGB customers can be found across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland including major publishing groups such as Greater Manchester Newspapers, Northcliffe, Trinity, Iliffe News and Media, the Archant Group, Kent Messenger Newspapers, North Wales Weekly Newspapers, Mediaforce, Bullivant Media and the Belfast Telegraph.
The acquisition of these solutions continues to expand Miles33’s overall product portfolio. New technology is the key to improved customer service and sales success at MTM Multimedia Sdn Bhd, in Malaysia. MTM Multimedia Sdn Bhd, has rolled out a whole suite of new software packages from Miles 33. MTM is the publisher of Motor Trader and Bike Trader, the weekly classified advertising magazines available across Malaysia, as well as producing under license, the monthly publication Autocar ASEAN. This suite of software covers three key elements of MTM’s publishing business, linking them together electronically in full for the first time.

There is also an interface with their desktop publishing production system.
With ads being sent from every part of Malaysia, to meet tight deadlines, it is essential to have a system which can easily facilitate the turnaround of thousands of bookings, photographs and payments. The benefit of the Miles software is being able to directly input private and trade bookings. Content, such as digital photographs can be sent via broadband, wi-fi or mobile phones from outstations or direct from customers. With the ability to place an ad directly into MTM’s website, the whole range of communication is being used to create the magazine.
"To follow this investment we will very shortly be announcing major development of our interactive web business. This will further enhance our customer options and experience of doing business with MTM and live up to our brand statement of "my 1st choice", says MTM CEO, Kate Stearman Smith.
Isle of Wight County Press Ltd, publishers of the Isle of Wight County Press weekly newspaper, is the second customer to move to the Miles 33 WorkFlow Media Neutral Editorial Solution. When the Isle of Wight County Press went looking for an editorial solution, they had a strong need to simplify their Web Publishing processes.
They selected the Miles 33 WorkFlow system because of its "from-the-ground-up" design for multimedia which would allow the newsroom to modernize the way content is authored, edited and published. With the WorkFlow system, all content is managed in media neutral format. Different content types can be "packaged" for ease of use in a variety of channels. In today’s Internet-centric world, content is often published on the Web first, then further edited and published in print. The Miles 33 WorkFlow system provides newsrooms with that kind of flexibility and control. A built-in workflow engine can automate processes ensuring a high level of efficiency that "by default" runs flawlessly.
