Two more papers go live in Brazil with integrated advertising solution from Miles 33
July 14, 2009

July, 2009, Belo Horizonte, Brazil – "Diário Catarinense" and "Hora de Santa Catarina", in Brazil, have successfully gone live with a 128 seat Miles 33 Advertising solution, a mere 4 months after contract signing.

Diário Catarinense is the largest circulation metropolitan newspaper in Florianópolis, in the state of Santa Catarina (South of Brazil), while Hora de Santa Catarina’s main circulation lies in the outskirts of the city. Both papers are part of the RBS group.

RBS, who also publish the prestigious Zero Hora, are standardizing all their properties on Miles 33 for their Advertising solutions. After the successful implementations of the Miles 33 Advertising systems at Zero Hora, Diário Gaúcho, Diário De Santa Maria, A Noticia and O Pioniero, the decision was made to roll out throughout the entire RBS enterprise.

Diário Catarinense and Hora de Santa Catarina both went live simultaneously, starting with  a short parallel production run on July 1, after which the two publications were successfully committed to the new system. The go-live coincided with the monthly billing cycle of the paper.  Both first editions included color classifieds, an important aspect of Diário Catarinense’s and Hora de Santa Catarina’s advertising offering.

"We are very proud with another two Miles 33 successes in Brazil, said Fabio Coelho,      Miles 33 Country Manager for Brazil. Many thanks go to RBS employees, whose professional conduct ensured this installation went so smoothly".
