O Pioniero in Brazil goes live
April 7, 2009

April, 2009, Norwalk, CT – O Pioneiro, in Brazil, has successfully gone live with a Miles 33 Advertising solution, a mere 3 months after contract signing.

O Pioneiro, the largest circulation newspaper in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, is a member of the Rede Brasil Sul Group (RBS) and is located in the city of Caxias do Sul.

RBS, who also publish the prestigious Zero Hora, are standardizing all their properties on Miles 33 for their Advertising solutions. After the successful implementations of the Miles 33 Advertising systems at Zero Hora, Diário Gaúcho, Diário De Santa Maria and A Noticia, the decision was made to roll out throughout the entire RBS enterprise.

O Pioniero started a parallel production run on Monday, March 30, using the old system and the new system side-by-side for a few days before committing the entire edition to the new system, coinciding with the monthly billing cycle of the paper. The first edition included color classifieds, an important aspect of O Pioneiro’s advertising offering.

"We are very proud with yet another Miles 33 success in Brazil, said Fabio Coelho, Miles 33 Country Manager for Brazil. Many thanks go to RBS employees, whose professional conduct ensured this installation went so smoothly".
